The first set of photos are related to the 1939 World’s Fair.
(The famous parachute jump that was built for the 1939 World's Fair is located at Coney Island. As a bonus for this post I've included my shot of it).
This second set are remnants of the 1964 World’s Fair.

Love the diarama pics. I'd love to have copies of these. But there's a problem with the first picture. You have some silly old picture blocking the Unisphere!!
Mike - As nice as the Unisphere is the T&P was much better!
You can have your giant ball and pointy thingy. At least the Unisphere hasn't been destroyed for scrap metal to use for ammunition!
Ooo wonderful shots! I love your picture of the Trylon/Perisphere. I would love to see any more vintage photos you have of the '39 fair.
