FANTASY FILM BASEBALL TRADING CARDS

Last year, I made up a set of virtual football cards featuring football characters from the movies. Just in time for the baseball playoffs, I created this set of cards with baseball movie characters. I love movies and I love baseball, so this was a fun post to put together.

1944 Centennial Flour card

Remington (Roogie) Rigsby - Pitcher - Brooklyn Dodgers - Roogie's Bump (1954)

I love these! Also, holy crap, jinx on making home made trading cards! One of us owes the other a soda pop...

Jeremy - Thanks! Cameron's baseball chatter is music to my ears!

Shawn - Thanks! You with the non-sports and me with the movie sports! More virtual cards the merrier!

Holy crap, these are amazing. Great idea. I love baseball movies.

I didn't make cards but I selected an all-star team of movie baseball players.

At some point I hoped to do the same with basketball and football.

Really, really well done, my friend.

Paxton - Thanks! They were fun to make and I'm planning on making basketball and hockey cards too! Looks like you have quite the reel all-star team. Great choices!

Very well done, I like your style. You should do more custom cards! I did a similar movie baseball card blog:
