Blocking out the scenery breaking my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the. . .
Oops, sorry, I got carried away singing - la de da.
Anytime I see an old and interesting sign, I try to stop and snap a photo of it. I love the design work and the artistry of some of these vintage signs. Luckily, we found a few on our trip.
(Remember when you're out and about and you see a nifty old sign, try and take a photo as the sign will probably be gone the next time you visit!)
If you want to see more of my sign photos you can check out my flickr sign photo set where you'll find over one hundred sign pics.
I miss the old Arby's signs.
ReplyDeleteGreat signs and photos! Thanks for sharing these. I agree, we've gotta snap 'em while we can!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a couple of those old Arby's signs around where I live. They're great.
ReplyDeleteThe Tropics sign brings back great memories. We would stop in on our way from Peoria to St.Louis on the old Route 121. Great neon sign. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
