I vaguely remember these guys... I don't think I ever actually heard them until now though, but I remember seeing photos of them in music mags. Apparently they were from one of the small moons that orbited Planet Devo.
Thanks Todd, I have the song but hadn't seen the video before.
Don't tell anyone, but one of my guilty pleasures is late 70's Sci-Fi / Fantasy Disco, a genre that I define as all the stuff inspired by / cashed in on by / ripped-off by the success of the Meco "Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk" LP.
Movies and TV shows like Buck Rogers, Alien, Battlestar Galactica, Godzilla, Moonraker, Close Encounters, U.F.O ( the Gerry Anderson show ), Space:1999, Lord of the Rings ( the Bakshi animated version ), In Search Of.., Wonder Woman, The Hulk, Star Trek TMP, Logan's Run, The Empire Strikes Back, Superman and many, many more all had disco versions ( often multiple versions ) released of their themes. I guess growing up at the time and being a massive Star Wars fan helped, but I have a soft spot for it. Even good non-movie themed Sci-Fi disco and electronica like this tune ( which predates much of it ) I enjoy.
Glen - You are not alone as I love this stuff too. Also, thanks to the SW & Galactic Funk album that we used to listen to for hours. I remember the radio was always playing some SW rip-off tune and usually every variety show had a space disco act.

But like I said... keep it under your hat!
Karswell - I would visit Planet Devo!
