Check out this 1970's postcard from the Frontier Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This postcard is so great that its beyond words.
Don’t feel bad. It took me a few minutes to stop laughing too.
I decided the inflatable dolphin should be in the bottom photo, so I took the liberty to insert, whom I’ve named Mr. Inflatable Flipper into the dinner scene. He seems like a better date for the blonde woman instead of that old guy.

Love your blog Todd!!! Brings back some memories!
Frank and Dean should have kicked Joey out and had the dolphin join the Rat Pack. He's one happenin' amphibian!
Great find! Next I'd like to see you replace the dolphin in the pool with the old guy.
I used to have one of those inflatable dolphins. I don't think they were marketed specifically as tie-ins to the "Flipper" tv show, but I ended up with mine because I was a huge fan of the show as a kid.
Of course I had to imagine that mine was in the water since he was too big for the bath tub, and living in a coastal community, inflatable floaty toys were not allowed at the beach (I think because they didn't want any kids drifting out to sea while riding them) and we had no swimming pool.
It's nice to see that he went on to have a life without me.
Thanks for a genuine 'laugh out loud' moment! That bottom postcard is priceless. I can only hope that Mr. Inflatable Flipper decides to take up full-time residence in Neato Coolville and that we will spot him in many pics to come!
Kelly - Thanks! We'll try and keep the Neato Coolville Memory Factory open for as long as we can!
Mike - Well, there's a long story about Mr. Inflatable Flipper and the Rat Pack, but you'll just have to wait to hear it!
Gilligan - That's a good idea, but I'm afraid the old guy got upset that I replaced him and now he's gone for good.
John - Yes, I think Mr. Inflatable Flipper said he enjoyed hanging out with you back then.
Steven - You're in luck! I found some more postcards that this fake Flipper is in. Boy that crazy dolphin really got around!
I think you should put him in the background of old family photos. I can totally see him hanging out with you and Pat.
