Halloween Packaging Day 6 -- Halloween Pringles

Back in 2003, that newfangled potato chip from the late 1960's finally gave us a Halloween themed can and it was everything any fan of the spooky season would want.  The can was beautifully designed in orange and black with bats, cats, and a haunted house.  Plus the chips themselves were orange.  Apparently a few consumers were confused thinking they should be cheese flavor but no they were just the plain ol' regular chips.

It was almost twenty years later that Pringles released another Halloween themed can and it was a glow-in-the-dark haunted house design in 2021.  This was followed by a design with dancing Halloween characters and these are available now.

"Once you pop, you can't stop!"

A glow-in-the-dark can? How cool is that? I wish I hadn't missed that.

I'm with Tom -- the glow-in-the-dark can is awesome. if i had been the designer, i would've made it so you could cut the can a certain way and use the GITD section as decoration. they don't use that sort of thing nearly enough anymore. Now i want Pringles. (hey, marketing works!)

Came back today to say that while grocery shopping last night i checked the snack aisle and spied a Dia de los Muertos-themed Pringles can the was labeled as "glow in the dark", complete with a female dancing skeleton in an elaborate Mexican-style dress, so while they may not be doing a Halloween thing this year, they are definitely doing something with the idea.
