I stumbled on this article about two bandits who wore Mr. Spock masks and robbed a bank in Poplar, Wisconsin on Halloween night in 1975. After reading these articles, I very much want to see this made into a movie.
They hit the same bank in Jan. '76 but this time wearing ski-masks. If only they would have donned the classic Captain Kirk rubber masks instead.
Hopefully you had time to click on all the articles and read about this true crime case. Do you agree this would make a great movie? Of course the best scene would have to be the bandits going into a five and dime store to buy two Ben Cooper Mr. Spock masks. Okay, live long and prosper and don't rob banks!

Wow, amazing story! I had to double-check the date of the article when the newspaper felt they had to describe who Spock was in Star Trek. "Strange-looking person"?? How DARE you!
