EVEL KNIEVEL R.I.P.
I’m very sad to hear that Evel Knievel has died. He was one of my heroes when I was a kid just like he was to many others of my generation. I’ve met many celebrities, but unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him. Evel was easily in my top five people I would like to meet, shake hands, and get an autograph from. He will be very missed now that he has taken his final jump!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
This original piece of artwork is by comic book artist Win Mortimer from 1971. I'm not sure if this was published or unpublished, but it fits perfect for a Thanksgiving post!
Enjoy family and friends and make sure you get a big slice of pumpkin pie!

1981 SPACEPORT EMPOYEE TRAINING VIDEOS
Watching these videos really makes me miss the classic arcades, especially the ones in shopping malls! These were uploaded by cschaible.
Also, check out this 1993 video of the last day for an old style Spaceport before it was remodeled. Uploaded by yaggy9.

THANKS FOR VISITING
Wow, did this month ever go fast! A Great Pumpkin sized thank you to everyone who visited our little town this month to help celebrate Halloween. As Mayor I speak for the town and we sincerely appreciated all the nice comments and emails! Also, a thank you goes out to all the other Halloween bloggers that joined the fun as there was a lot of nice variety this year.
