Thanks for all the great TRON nostalgia. I still have the big cardboard standee from the first movie. I kind of wish I'd put it on ebay last week.
My son and I saw the new movie today. I wasn't wild about the script which seemed to make things as easy as possible for the good guys with no real challenges or obstacles and a lot of dropped plot points, but I find myself caught up in what is probably the first retro-1980s styled futuristic movie ever made. The music was great and worked perfectly with the whole 1980s future feel.
My son loved it and has already asked if I could make him a Tron costume for Halloween.
