An artifact from my childhood is this pumpkin head candy container. These were sure fun to play with after you ate the multi-colored candy that looked like the inside of a Contact pill. I seem to remember a skull guy and a witch that we had, plus we got Easter and Christmas characters too! No, not for Halloween, but for Easter and Christmas!
They were kind of a throwback to the old glass candy containers that were popular during the 1920's thru the 1950's.
I have this one and a Santa, but that’s all. So it looks like I’ll be haunting ebay so I can find a few more.
