I was going thru some old files and found this scan of this amazing WWI era cover for Illustrated World. I'm afraid I sold it years ago, so I can only wonder about its content. The artwork has the feel of a 1930's pulp magazine and the artist, Chester H. Lawrence was definitely ahead of his time.

ILLUSTRATED WORLD WWI COVER

Dis is cool! At first I thought you Photoshopped the grinning faces on 'em.
Yeah, those masks look so out of place for the time.
