COMIC BOOK WALLPAPER: BLACK CAT MYSTERY #37

Black Cat Mystery #37 is one of my favorite horror comic covers from the golden age comics! Here's my reassembled version as a desktop wallpaper.

Cover image from the Grand Comics Database!

Here's the list of comic book wallpapers I've made so far for the Halloween countdown.

I have semi-revived my blog (cool-mo-dee) in the form of a facebook vintage comics post:

Divorce and other stuff forced me to temporarily close but after reading your blog I am starting to get the inspiration again!

Thanks all!

Adam - Welcome back! I always enjoy a good comic scan, so I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks!

Is the comic book artwork you use for these wallpapers in the public domain? I am an editor for an upcoming pulp magazine and am looking for some classic promotional art from the 1950s that is public domain for the website.
Thank you.

Noah - I'm not sure what is and what is not in the public domain. For my wallpapers I use scans from comics in my collection, from scans from friends and images from online auctions. You might check with Karswell at The Horrors of it All blog. http://thehorrorsofitall.blogspot.com/
