1949 KMA GUIDE - HALLOWEEN COVER

A couple of weeks ago rummaging in a flea market, I found a big stack of KMA Guides for a buck each. I was lucky and found five Halloween covers and today I'm sharing the first one. What the heck is The KMA Guide you ask? I don't know too much about the publication, but it was the monthly guide for the radio station KMA. KMA has been broadcasting since 1925 out of Shenandoah, Iowa.

This first cover really represents what Halloween is all about - a true child’s holiday filled with amazement and wonder.

Nice! I'd have picked them up, too. That definitely is what Halloween is all about.
