Here's a fun Curtiss Candy box that was once a gift to a lucky boy, named Daryl. My guess is that this is from the 1950s. It amazes me that it still has the cellophane window stocking intact!
Be sure to check out my pal Jason's candy blog,
CollectingCandy.com for his 12 Days of Christmas! He's celebrating all things Christmas candy!

Curtiss Fruit Drops had no hole in the center like Life Savers.I also remember their cherry flavor was a more sour, darker red than Life Savers wild cherry.I'm not knocking Life Savers though. They were often stocking stuffers also.Beech Nut was also another Christmas treat, with the rolls inside a book shaped box.
