FRANKLIN TROUT NETS

I wanted to share with everyone and put in a plug before Christmas about my Dad’s handmade wood trout nets that he is selling.

Dad has always been a woodworker and has amazed me with all the nice things that he’s built. He’s crafted furniture, toys, dulcimers, canoes, and now trout nets.

Trout nets are an obvious choice for Dad to make since he’s been an avid fishermen most of his adult life. The nets themselves are kind of a throwback to the good old days as they are handcrafted from quality woods like hickory, oak, and walnut. They remind me of the nets seen on all those wonderful advertisements and magazine covers of the 1950's and 60's.

His nets are attracting two kinds of customers. Some customers are buying them to land that big trout and other customers are buying them to hang on the wall for the classic lodge look.

You can check out all the different styles of nets at Franklin Nets and you’ll be surprised at the reasonable prices too!

A friend of mine who fishes would probably love these. They're gorgeous.
