Marshmallows seem to be the perfect candy for Halloween. They're already kinda shaped like a puffy ghost and we like to melt 'em with fire and squish 'em between chocolate bars and graham crackers. But for some reason they just haven't been accepted as a go to Halloween candy. Easter seems to be a better fit. Though the good folks over at Campfire did release Ghoster Roasters back in 2015.
They're beloved mascot Campy dressed up as Dracula to spook up some sales and it certainly worked on me. I purchased a bag, made s'mores and enjoyed a fun treat.
I even managed to snap a pic of them in the wild at my local supermarket.
The best part of the packaging is Campy trying to scare us from behind the UPC symbol. I love when brands go the extra mile and incorporate the UPC into the packaging design.
Later in the countdown Campfire will be making another appearance and you'll be asking yourself, "Who you gonna call?"
