REBEL PILOTS SIGN IN

At a Star Wars convention in Omaha, Nebraska a few years back, I had the opportunity to meet three of the actors who portrayed rebel pilots.

Angus MacInnes (Gold Leader) was selling these nifty replica tickets from the Dominion Theatre in London. Of course he signed it, as did William (Bill) Hootkins (Red 6 - Porkins) and Garrick Hagon (Red 3 - Biggs).

Hey, what do you know? I was at AlphaCon, too, working behind the scenes! Oh, the stories I could tell you...

Stephen - Cool! I really enjoyed that show. I'm sure those stories would be fun to hear!

Yeah, it was a great show. Too bad they lost money and there was never another one. Stories, yeah, like how one of the actors (whom the others referred to as "Iron Man") who ended up with a Xena lookalike one night, or the reaction of another one of the guys who got a delivery at breakfast from a guy who wanted an autograph through the mail, or how one of them had a severe dry skin problem on his scalp and got chided by all the others for it, or which one of them had grape jam for the first time (OK, it was Ken Colley) and fell in love with it, or how Mike Edmonds and I strolled around antique shopping one day. Good times.
